Faith’s Crown

Faith’s Crown Foundation believe’s that natural hair is more than a style – it’s identity, heritage, and a powerful expression of self. Born from Faith Fennidy’s experience with hair discrimination, this platform exists to educate, uplift, and empower anyone navigating their natural-hair journey.

“My hair is history, beauty, and resilience woven into every strand. Discrimination taught me this my hair is worth defending.”

Faith’s story became more than a headline; it became a catalyst. It revealed how deeply misunderstandings about natural hair still run, especially for young Black students who deserve to learn in environments that respect who they are. Rather than letting the experience define her in a negative way, Faith chose to turn it into a purpose.

Faith has used her voice to help spread awareness and to create change with Dove self-esteem projects, Good Morning America, The Country Music Awards, and The Crown Awards. She has received many awards as well, such as two Young Crown Awards, the Princeton Prize in Race Relations award, and Advocacy of the Year from Tougaloo College.
